On Saturday the Hog Roast Grantham were out at Hanbeck Farm to cater for the wonderful Keilly on here wedding day. Hanbeck Farm, like so many excellent venues in the Lincolnshire area has taken something old and repurposed it with a modern fit – a bit like Hog Roast Grantham re-tooled the age old fire pit roast to bring authentic hog roasting into modern events. Hanbeck has been lovingly refitted into a beautiful, elegant wedding venue with plenty of privacy and quietness away from city life. It’s a great setting to spend your special day with all of the people that really matter in your life – including your new husband!
As this was an old farm, we figured a rustic style of dining with modern purpose would be a great fit for the dining menu. That took us to our gourmet barbecue range, which delivers on the classics with a slight refresh and new twists. Hog Roast Grantham’s barbecue menu utilises the very best local meats and turns them into something special – again like our roast and Hanbeck Farm itself. For Keilly’s wedding, our day menu for 71 guests consisted of BBQ options of grilled gourmet burgers, butcher’s quality sausages, and the unique BBQ additions of Thai spiced chicken kebabs and our BBQ marinated meaty ribs. All options also available with fried onions and cheese for even more flavour and barbecue goodness! For veggie options, our grilled veg and halloumi skewers and vegetarian burgers. And of course no rustic barbie would be complete with out its sides: cooling Greek salad, creamy gourmet coleslaw, and roasted baby new potatoes. Thereafter, if anyone had any room left, it was dessert options of profiteroles and handmade individual cheesecakes.
The rustic style dining then made way for the dance floor and tunes, as guests partied on into the night, working up a sweat and another appetite. Fortunately on this count, the Hog Roast Grantham team were still on hand to round out the night for guests with bacon and sausage rolls (veggie sausages also available).
