With our wedding dining at Hog Roast Lincoln there are always multiple avenues for customers to go down. We can do things relaxed or formal; high-end or just perfectly comfortable; a full plate roast or a buffet and barbecue.
Giving customers many options has been an integral part to our success over the last few decades. Of course, many will come to us for our signature hog roast dining experience more often than not, but even within that there are many different ways to enjoy your special day.
Take last weekend’s wedding here in Lincoln as an example. A wonderful ceremony for Rob and Helen, followed up by a reception at home where the Hog Roast Lincoln team were on hand to dish out the dining right the way through the afternoon. To kick things off and help build a nice and relaxed atmosphere around the party, the team served up canapes. Canapes are always a great option for the beginning of your wedding reception. They help to keep things moving while the bride and groom mingle with guests, take on the plaudits and get all of the photos done, while guests, too, are able to catch up with each other. Bogging the party down with a more formal meal or something that requires a table and plate to eat doesn’t quite work; instead, our canapes offer a nice and light option that keeps guests fed until the main event while also freeing everyone up to keep the celebrations moving.
And with canapes like these, you have a tonne of taste packed into just a small bite. Mini beef fillets served in a small Yorkshire pudding with horseradish cream, chicken satay skewers, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini, and mini fish and chip cones. If that wasn’t enough, the canapes were then followed up by antipasti platters as a starter to the main hog roast event. Following our signature Hog Roast Lincoln pork roast, carved and served expertly by our head chef, the evening finished on a selection of desserts, topping off a wonderful celebration for Rob and Helen.
