Hog roast Barton-upon-Humber catered for a beautiful winter wedding last Thursday for Janet and Simon, a beautiful couple who have been together for 18 years and finally decided to tie the knot!
The crew arrived early for the event ensuring plenty of time for setting up and starting cooking ready to serve the food at 6.30pm. The reception hall was decorated beautifully with balloons and fabulous centre-pieces. People started piling in after the ceremony had finished at about 5.30pm, just enough time to sit, have a drink and enjoy some time before the food was served. As the guests entered they were welcomed to the succulent smell of slowly cooked pork, which is always a welcome smell!
Throughout the reception is was obvious that every-one was in high spirits and feeling fantastic and everyone was talking about the food! The bride’s family, in particular, were extremely picky eaters but they thought the food was delightful! The staff from Hog Roast Barton-upon-Humber were amazing help and they were willing to help the family with anything possible, they were constantly moving none stop from start to finish and had a real ambition for making everything perfect.
As it was a winter wedding, Hog roast Barton-upon-Humber couldn’t think of a better way to feed a room full of cold guests than this. The buffet included all of the added extras such as sage and onion stuffing and bread rolls to create your own delicious pork and stuffing bap! It was obvious the pork had been slow cooked as it fell apart and was so tender to bite into,
With high spirits, and full tummies, the bride and grooms made their speeches and couldn’t have been happier. Hog Roast Barton-upon-Humber did an absolutely amazing job at this wedding and cleaned up and got ready to go in a swift and organised fashion.
It was the husband who had suggested the hog roast originally, the bride wasn’t really that optimistic at first, but after the service from the Hog Roast Barton-upon-Humber, I think it is one point to the husband!
