Summer is well underway (not that the weather seems to have been told quite yet) and Hog Roast Scunthorpe is flying with the events as they come thick and fast.
The summer season is one of our favourites as a hog roast caterer because it allows us to get outside where we prefer cooking best. Hog roasting, after all, would typically have been conducted outside in traditional times with a fire pit and a spit. Our means of cooking is versatile enough to be conducted indoors or out, but where possible we are always going to opt to get the pig our where it belongs under blue skies and bright shining sun at your events.
With the events coming in thick and fast, we’ve only now had a bit of time to collate the feedback from our first crop of events throughout June and early July. And, with the reviews in, it may be fair to say already that Hog Roast Scunthorpe’s catering is the hit of the summer season! We’ve been delighted to not only pick up a lot of events each and every day, but to also get in such glowing feedback for our work so far this summer season. We always want to do our best in the summer; throughout the year you tend to pick up steam from the winter months, through spring, and, hopefully, hit a peak during summer where events are most held – particularly with it also being the wedding season. To know that we are already doing some of our best work of the year in the first stage of summer is excellent to see!
Even where the weather has let us down, it is great to see that the Hog Roast Scunthorpe gourmet barbecue has taken numerous special mentions. It is one of our favourites and really sells that summer feeling – even, apparently, when the summer doesn’t quite do so! It’s up to our Hog Roast Scunthorpe teams to live up to the billing for the remainder of the summer season and, indeed, the year. Once you’ve got the 5 star reviews, you’ve still got to put on a show night after night, after all!
