The new year brought us some very cold weather but plenty of bookings! We were booked for a hog roast in Bardney but with our beautiful Southern Slow Roast menu for a couple for their engagement party. Having got engaged at Christmas they were quick to get celebrations under way! We arrived in plenty of time for a 8pm serve, a nice little set up in the garden where we would cook and serve. Although it was a cold evening the couple had a lamppost heater in the garden which would keep everyone warm and happy as they came to get the food.
The meats had been slowly roasting all day and when 8pm approached people were quickly lining up to grab a taste of the shoulder of Pork, Brisket of Beef or Lamb Quarter. They were served with a selection of sauces, freshly made salads, hot potato wedges and a vegetarian option. The Grilled Vegetable And Halloumi Skewers, Served with Pitta Breads and a Tzatziki Dip go down a real treat! All were served with a variety of fresh bread rolls. Beautiful menu and brilliant hog roast event in Bardney!
