What a fabulous weekend doing a hog roast in Old Leake. Although the weather wasn’t on our side as we’ve seen the back lash of Hurricane Berth, we made this weekend’s event one to remember! We pitched our marquee up in the grounds of St Marys Church, which is a grade 1 listed building dedicated to St Mary. We made sure we arrived on site a few hours before so this gives us at hog roast Old Leake a chance to get our free range pig slowly cooking ready in time for our guests to fest on. The torrential rain and 18mph winds didn’t sway our guest away! What is a bit of rain going to do? What made this event so much better than many other events we have catered for is that we could sit there under the marquee and watch the weather take its course; it was brilliant watching the thunder and lightning whilst hog roast Old Leake served the finest hog roast to our guests. We had a rather big group of people this weekend as our event was meant to be an Annual Summer Faire for families, couples and music-lovers. But unfortunately the one thing that let us down at hog roast Old Leake, and of course the people that attended the event were the weather. Hog roast Old Leake would love to come back next year and cater for the lovely town at their next Summer Faire and hopefully the sun will also be attending!
