Silent discos have become the very latest trend in all things dance and party related and Hog Roast Ingoldmells were recently hired by their clients to cater for one. Heralded as a neighbour friendly party, due to the reduce noise levels, silent discos have become very popular as University celebration events. Hog Roast Ingoldmells were recently contacted by a University social club and hired to cater such an event.
The silent disco had a guest list of 75 students attending and they would all need plenty of good food to keep them energised and dancing the night away! The clients worked closely with the team to create a menu that would be tasty and full of energy for the bopping students.
The platters of perfection on offer at the silent disco included truly tasty treats such as: grilled vegetable and halloumi wraps, plain grilled vegetable wraps, sweet potato fries, corn cobettes, fresh Greek salad and gluten free rolls. The main attraction at the buffet table however was the Classic Hog Roast, which was complete with all the trimmings; a crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and sweet apple sauce.
The venue for the silent disco was the university sports hall and the Hog Roast Ingoldmells team had access to this venue several hours before the 10pm serving time, in those hours before the event the team worked hard to create every dish from scratch fresh on site. As part of the bespoke catering package the clients had plumped for, the team would supply high quality disposable crockery and cutlery for the guests to use, as well as providing some takeaway tubs so that the guests could take some delicious offerings home with them after they had finished partying.
It was a very unique event that the whole team felt delighted to be a part of. The clients and all their guests absolutely loved the tasty treats on offer at the disco, and the team were thrilled to have been hired to cater the event.
